Even in today's economy, $300 is still considered social gambling to a small segment of the population, and that is exactly who the proposed increase in betting limits is designed for.

Your bizarre view (editorial, 11-13) on betting limits is that gamblers bet based on the maximum betting limit at the table.

I know the reality is that people bet based on their incomes, and this is evident by the very limited number who bet $100 now. The vast majority of people bet between $5 and $25, regardless of whether the maximum bet is $100 or $300. The vast majority of mini customers will not change their betting habits even with higher limits.
