Kenny Rogers used to sing that you had to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away and know when to run.
Problem was, weekend poker players didn't know how the pros did it. Unlike their golfing counterparts, poker players had no pro tour on television to watch and learn how the best did it. But these days television is flush with poker games.
And now cable networks like the Travel Channel and ESPN are successfully - despite Rogers' best advice - counting their money when the players are sitting at the table.
