It also means, of course, a whole lot of clout and respect from fellow players. Bogdanski may very well have to turn off his observer chat from now on when he plays at FullTilt for fear of being asked the same question over and over, "Hey, how'd you get your own avatar?"
Bogdanski won with 300 tournament leader board points, just 25 points more than runner up AAAAJ. He earned his points by finishing deep in three events. He finished so deep that he didn't even have to make a final table to snag the best-player honors. He cashed in the following events:
Event No. 1 - Pot-limit Omaha - 12th place - $1,622 - 95 LB points
Event No. 4 - No-limit hold'em shorthanded - 8th - $6,544 - 115 LB points
Event No. 7 - Razz - 13th - $887 - 90 LB points
Bogdanski told Card Player that, next to winning a $500 pot-limit five-card draw event at FullContactPoker, this is one of his "proudest accomplishments." He'd won the tournament at FullContact despite having never played the game before.
"I was very happy to play so well in many (FTOPS) events," Bodganski said, "but with the success I've had in other online tournaments, it was a frustrating series. Nevertheless, it is a great honor to win the overall leaderboard for the FTOPS, and I'm excited to have myself made into a cartoon."
