Geir-Yngve Andersen, 36,  of Norway has plenty to be excited about, and he has Titan Poker to thank for his recent success.  Andersen just returned from the World Poker Showdown event (WPS) in Costa Rica, which he won a seat to on a Super Satellite at Titan Poker.  He was extremely excited to participate in the event, and was even more thrilled when he made the final table and finished in 8th place, winning over $5000!

Andersen certainly did not leave Costa Rica empty handed.  In addition to his success at the main event, Andersen won $3,400 in a previous tournament that preceded the main event. This was Andersen's first time in Costa Rica and was blown away by his experience there. Apart from playing poker, Andersen had time to relax and travel around the country. "I want to move there", he said jokingly, summing up his experience. Andersen was also very satisfied with the way the tournament was conducted. " People were very friendly there and the tournament organizers did a tremendous job," he said.

His lucky streak continued after his return to Norway, when he won $5,625 in the $250,000 Guaranteed Tournament. His next challenge will be qualifying  for the the WPS - Bahamas "Deep Stack" Poker Open, taking place at the stunning Cable Beach Resort in January 2008. Titan Poker is holding a series of Super Satellites for this event, awarding winners with a $7,000 all-expenses paid trip to the Bahamas Poker Open. The next two Super Satellites will be held on November 18th and December 9th. You can buy into these Satellites directly or qualify through the staged satellites. Next month you can find yourself indulging in the luxuries of the Bahamas, while participating in live Poker tournament with players from all around the world. See you there!
