Las Vegas, Nevada - November 25, 2009 - While Americans get set to gather around the dinner table for Thanksgiving dinner, Doyle Brunson and his family will be sitting down at a different kind of table for a $50,000 feast. The entire Brunson family, including Doyle, Todd and Pam, will be the featured bounties in this Wednesday's $50k Bounty Tournament at DoylesRoom's online poker tables.

For just $27.50, bounty hunters can buy into the Wednesday Bounty Tournament at 9:30pm ET and play for a prize pool that includes up to $50,000 in bounty money. Any player who knocks out one of the Brunson family members will win $1,000 in bounty money. Two Brunson family knockouts will earn the bounty hunter $10,000 and three knockouts will earn the successful player $50,000.

In addition to up to $50,000 in bounty money, the Brunson Family Bounty Tournament features an additional $600 in prize money that will be split among the players sitting at the table where each knockout occurs.

Since Thanksgiving is about spending time with close friends as much as family, Mike Caro and Hoyt Corkins have been invited to play as well. Each one will also be marked with a $1,000 bounty.

To make the Wednesday Bounty Tournament even more accessible, the poker room manager is giving away seats to those who have never played the game before. All first time players will receive a full refund upon conclusion of the tournament whether they win or lose.

Poker Tips

In Texas Hold'em, if someone suddenly bets into you or raises, and you are considering folding, be sure to first look at the amount of chips that the player has in front of him. If he is out of chips it's likely that he is bluff raising/betting because he knows he will go all-in on that hand anyway.
