J.C. Tran held the baton all the way on a tough finaltable and won his second bracelet and his first title which wasn't in Texas Hold'em. By winning $235,685 in this even his total tournament winnings accumulates to unprecedented 8 million dollars.

The final table in WSOP-Event 30 contained names such as John Juanda, Omaha-bracelet winner Theo Jörgensen and Omaha / Hold 'em-winner from earlier this year Rami "arbianight" Bukai. It seemed, however, to be no match for J.C. who controlled the final table until the end when he defeated Jeff "Jaffa Cake" Kimber heads-up.

This was just another success for the Vietnam-born Americans who already have a bracelet and eight top-7-placements in the WPT.

Results from the final table:

1. J.C. Tran 235 685 dollar
2. Jeff Kimber 145 656 dollar
3. Jean Phillipe Leandri 95 837 dollar
4. Ross Boatman 66 936 dollar
5. Dallas Flowers 49 387 dollar
6. Rami Boukai 38 407 dollar
