Italian Jeff Lisandro won Event 16, the $1,500 Seven Card Stud WSOP 2009 event and took home $125,000 in first prize. Jeff was born in Australia but has been living both in the U.S. and Italy. He worked previously with real estates but now plays poker full time. His previous Bracelet was also in Seven-Card Stud two years ago. Besides his two Bracelets Jeff has played 10 final tables and has ended "in the money" in 27 events in the WSOP, a very impressive track record.

The final table contained two other Bracelet winners: John Juanda and Rod Pardey Sr. Rod from Seattle, the latter who also was the one who got to see the defeat in the final stage and heads-up game against Lisandro. John Juanda finished in fifth place. 359 players participated in this event.
