26-year-old Leo Wolpert won his first bracelet when he defeated EPT founder John Duthie by 2-1 in matches in the final. The former poker professional and now law student took home $625,682.

- I used to play many heads-up games on the net, but I have not played it since last November, says the winner. It was however a hard game, John Duthie winning the first match.

- I ridge a little after the first match, I will not lie. But I was determined to win from the start, so I calmed down and focused on the next game instead.

Leo has a background as a professional money player primarily online, but now he uses his profits to finance his law studies.

John Duthie won $386,636 by finishing second.
