Leading online poker room UltimateBet has announced the release of its new Mac-compatible software client meaning that Mac players now have unparalleled access and can stand on an equal footing with PC users.

The site’s Ultimate Bet Mac poker software has been designed specifically to ‘answer the needs and wants of online gamers’ and to deliver the ‘ultimate online poker version for the Apple-compatible web-based programme’.

The new downloadable software allows Mac poker players to access the same features and functionality that Ultimate Bet has offered Windows-compatible computers. This includes ring games, satellites, single and multi-table hold'em tournaments and single-player blackjack.

In addition, UltimateBet has released its No Download Poker Games option, which allows PC and Mac users the ability to play anytime and anywhere from any Internet browser.

'Our company strives to make our poker room accessible to as many people as possible and we recognise that Apple computers have a growing market share in the personal computing industry,” said Paul Leggett, Chief Operating Officer for Kahnawake-licensed parent firm Tokwiro Enterprises.

“In response to this trend, we have developed an all new download poker application specifically for the Mac Operating System.

“As a Mac user, the only real limitation I have found is that a lot of poker applications will not run on the Mac Operating System. With UB Mac, players will enjoy the same incredible user experience that PC users currently have and we remain committed to ongoing development of our Mac online poker client to ensure it is the best in the business.”
